Acacia Decurrens/Jojoba/Sunflower Seed Wax Polyglyceryl-3 Esters is a complex emollient derived from three plant sources: acacia, jojoba, and sunflower seed waxes. These are combined with polyglyceryl-3 esters, which act as a natural emulsifier and skin-conditioning agent. The result is an ingredient that sits at the intersection of texture enhancement and barrier support.

This blend brings together the properties of multiple plant waxes, creating a conditioning agent that helps to soften and smooth the skin whilst maintaining moisture. It appears in formulations designed to improve skin feel and provide lasting hydration without a heavy residue.

The ingredient works through two complementary mechanisms. The polyglyceryl-3 esters portion helps to emulsify, or blend, the plant waxes into formulations whilst also conditioning the outermost layer of skin. Meanwhile, the combined plant waxes—jojoba, sunflower seed, and acacia—form a light, breathable film on the skin surface.
