What Is ATP Complex?
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is the primary energy currency of all living cells. Every biological process in the body, from muscle movement to cell division, relies on ATP for energy. In skin cells, ATP powers essential functions including repair, renewal, and barrier maintenance.
As skin ages, cellular ATP production naturally declines, which can slow down the skins regenerative capabilities. Topical ATP in skincare aims to supplement the skins energy reserves and support optimal cellular function.
ATP in cosmetic formulations is typically stabilised to maintain its activity. It works particularly well in combination with other energising ingredients to revitalise tired, stressed, or ageing skin.
