What Is Copper Peptides?

Copper peptides, particularly GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide-1), are small protein fragments bound to copper ions that have remarkable skin-regenerating properties. They naturally occur in human plasma and decrease with age, making supplementation beneficial for mature skin.

GHK-Cu stimulates collagen and elastin production while also promoting the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans like hyaluronic acid. It has been shown to promote wound healing and skin remodeling by signaling fibroblasts to produce new tissue.

Beyond regeneration, copper peptides have anti-inflammatory properties and help protect skin from oxidative damage. They can also help reduce the appearance of scarring and support overall skin health.

Copper peptides should not be used in the same routine as strong acids or vitamin C, as these can interfere with their effectiveness. Apply to clean skin and follow with moisturizer.
