What Is Ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol Manganese Chloride?

Ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol manganese chloride is a lab synthesized antioxidant also known by the trade names SpecKare® D-EUK-134 and EUK-134. According to its manufacturer, ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol manganese chloride mimics the free radical scavenging ability of superoxide dismutase (an enzyme found in the cells of living organisms) and catalase, another enzyme with potent antioxidant properties. Currently, there’s not a wealth of independent research on EUK-134’s benefits for skin, theoretically it’s a good ingredient to include in anti-aging formulations. Suggested usage levels of ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol manganese chloride are in the 0.1% range, speaking to its potential potency.
