L-Mandelic Acid

L-Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid derived from bitter almonds. It has a larger molecular size than glycolic acid, resulting in slower, more even penetration and reduced irritation potential.

This makes mandelic acid particularly suitable for sensitive skin and darker skin tones, which are more prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from irritating treatments.

Mandelic acid also has natural antibacterial properties, making it effective for acne-prone skin.
