What Is Pentapeptide-18?
Pentapeptide-18, also known as Leuphasyl, is a neurotransmitter-affecting peptide that works by mimicking the activity of enkephalins. It reduces the release of neurotransmitters at the neuromuscular junction, helping to relax facial muscles and diminish expression lines.
Unlike Botox which blocks neurotransmitters, this peptide modulates their release, offering a gentler approach to reducing dynamic wrinkles. It works synergistically with other neuromuscular peptides like Argireline.
