What Is Polyglycerin-6?
Polyglycerin-6 is a synthetic humectant and glycerin polymer that helps hydrate the skin. It does so by attracting water to the skin’s surface.
Through proper hydration, humectants like polyglycerin-6 work to give the skin a plump, healthy, dewy look. Usage levels of polyglycerin-6 in skin care range from 2–10%, with amounts of 2% or less also used in hair care to help stabilize foaming agents.
