What Is Rosa Canina Fruit Extract?
Rosa canina fruit extract, commonly known as rosehip, is derived from the fruit of the wild rose plant. It is exceptionally rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, and essential fatty acids including omega-3 and omega-6.
The extract also contains natural trans-retinoic acid, the same active form of vitamin A found in prescription retinoids. This makes rosehip particularly effective for anti-ageing and skin renewal.
Rosehip has been used for centuries in skincare for its regenerative properties and ability to improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
